Senario:
FreeBSD router/wireless AP
FreeBSD running Windows domain controller (PDC under Samba)
1 Windows 98se machine that logs into said domain now moved to wireless. (was
working when wired)

Problem:
keep getting "No domain server could be found to validate your account..." since
the box was moved to wirless, but it /can/ get on the net once booted.

Diagnosis:
software that controls the wireless card doesn't load until windoze is fully
booted, hince the problem logging into the domain.

Attempt at solution:
i added the "utility", as they call it. to RunServices (registry) and now it
does load /before/ the un/pw/domain prompt, but still no luck ("No domain server
can be found to authenticate your account...." once i do try to log in).
the strangest thing is that now i can come over here and log into my server and
see the windoze box, ping it, and in every other way communicate with it
/before/ i ever try to log in.

Are you running WINS? If so make sure the
wireless clients are pointing towards the name
server.

I would try adding the PDC's ip to the clients Hosts and LMhosts files

Hope that helps
