I have an existing team site where I want to change the team site's URL
because of a change in department name. I have administrative right of the
team site. My server administrator is telling me that setting up a new team
site with the new name is the only possibility but I can not believe that
there is no other way to change the URL and retain all content in the team
sites (and under laying sites). Please advise.
