First, thanks for reading this in English.

I've spent a fair amount of time trying to determine if the Language Pack
(in Dutch) for Office 2007 (UK version) exists.

The MS site has a great deal of info re this Language Pack but I can't find
any legitimate site that offers it.

Is it offered for sale? Just wondering.

Office 2007 is available in dutch, yes.

But a languagepack? Didn't know languagepacks for Office 2007 existed in the
first place, always thought i'd have to reinstall.

Dave (hoi naamgenoot!),

Dave, this is what I was referring to ...

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/HA102113681033.aspx

I already own a Language Pack for Office 2003 but can not use that with
Office 2007.
I was just wondering if anyone had seen it anywhere being offered.

Thanks, DH

Dave,

Since I don't own Office 2007 I don't really feel like doing all your work
for you. The site you refer to seems ot be just what you want/need; as do the
answers I suggested you go find on this site.

What's your problem?

I thought perhaps since this was a Dutch site someone here might know a tad
more I.

I purchased a legitimate copy of Office 2007 through surfspot.nl
(educational price) and still do not see the Language Pack for 2007 offered
(at that site). I purchased the Language Pack for Office 2003 but it does
not work with Office 2007.

I am not asking you to do any work for me. I know that that teh Language
Pack exists. I was hoping since this is a Dutch site that someone here had
actually seen this in a store or university offered for sale.

Thank you for your help. DH

Hello Dave,

Yes the Language Packs for Office 2007 are available, indeed. If you have
an English version of Office, it comes with the French and Spanish proofing
tools, so you will need to buy the Dutch proofing tools as
part of the Dutch Language Pack for Office 2007, however, since they are
not provided by default with the English version of Office.

Single Language Packs for Office 2007, which include the proofing tools for
one given language (spell-checker, thesaurus, grammar checker, etc.) are
available from a number of online stores worldwide. Check this out:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/FX102113661033.aspx

You can click on the link “Buy a single language pack now”. You then just
have to pick your country from the drop-down list and you will be directed to
the most appropriate store, as a function of your location. Some of the
stores are localized for the market or the region. You can then select the
language you are interested in (Italian as far as you are concerned) and
click the “Buy Now” button.

If you want to know more about Language Packs for the 2007 Microsoft Office
system, check out the Frequently Asked Questions on the Office site:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/HA102113701033.aspx

Customers can only purchase products in the online store for their region
(accessible from the localized Office Online sites). Otherwise, credit card
validation will fail. So if you are from outside the USA, customers should
not try to purchase these Single Language Packs from a US site. For Western
Europe, for instance, the purchase site can be directly accessed via
http://buy.trymicrosoftoffice.com/buyemea1. For the rest of Europe, the URL
is http://buy.trymicrosoftoffice.com/buyemea2.

This is currently the only way of purchasing and downloading these language
packs.

I hope this will help you,

Best wishes,

Of course, I meant:

You can then select the language you are interested in (Dutch as far as you

are concerned) and click the “Buy Now” button.

You will certainly have corrected... ;-)
