Wat is het verschil tussen dotx en dotm

Wie kent er het verschil tussen dotx en dotm?
Hoe wordt een sjabloon in 2007 opgeslagen? Als dotx of als dotm? Ik vind in
verschillende boeken, verschillende antwoorden.

Ooit gehoord van Google of AltaVista? Even gezocht naar difference dotm en
dotx en je had het antwoord kunnen lezen:
Microsoft Office 2007 introduced new file types based on XML. Extensions
starting with doc are documents and those starting with dot are templates.
Extensions ending with x are the default type and an m ending means
macro-enabled. For a full explanation have a look here:

Dit is het definitief juiste antwoord, aangezien het begeleidende artikel
van MicroSoft zelf is. Alles met een "dot" in de extensie is gewoon een
sjabloon. Nu is de vraag natuurlijk, gaven die boeken je werkelijk afwijkende
antwoorden, of snapte je het gewoon niet goed?

Pallacinky,
Bij het dotx formaat kan gewoon geen macro gekoppeld zijn, bij een dotm wel.
Verder is er geen enkel verschil.
