best way to build graph for MPEG2 transport stream

Hi Guys,
on windows 7 the windows media player supports .ts files.
however if I use graphedit to "render" a .ts file, it complains it
doesnt know how to build a graph for it.
how do can I play the .ts file in my application? BDA? MPEG-2
Demultiplexer filter? windows media foundation?
help appreciated,
