Is trhere a way to connect to netnews.msn.com server other than using Outlook
Express? I have a connection problem - unable to connect to the server - with
Outlook Express 6.0 on a Windows 98 computer, when try to download a list of
newsgroups available.

I just want to know whether my outlook is working because I can't get
connection.

There are no MSN news servers any longer. The Microsoft news server is
news.microsoft.com
It only carried the microsoft.public nntp news groups.
