Don't believe anything MS tells you! Especially about MSN. netnews is dead
for all practical purposes and MS knows it. They lie about it to get
customers. The official announcement was years ago. See

I just got the same run around response from the customer service people at
MSN and Microsoft. If they had simply told me that their news server was no
longer supported, I would have been disapointed. But, instead, they chose
to lie to me and play a game of pass the buck. Now I'm just plain angry.
This is not a good way to make a first impression on a new customer. If
these people don't get their act together in short order, I will be more
than happy to switch to another ISP.
