I also thought microsoft was developing a pop up blocker. Is this new
pop up blocker only going to block companies they are not in collusion
with?

Which mail program is invoked when you do this? My installation of MSN
Messenger 6.2 invokes Pegasus Mail, and no pop ups. I wonder if I would see
pop up ads if Messenger invoked the browser for a log in to the MSN Hotmail
web site?

I would guess that their pop up blocker would not be applied to their paid
advertisers. Please don't abuse the word 'collusion'. When a company pays
for advertising, they have every right to expect that the people they are
paying won't block their ads.

I realize that sneaky web advertisers are finding a way around googles
pop up blocker and that it is not a fault on their part. But, when I
start seeing certain words like "celine dion" appear in a ebay search
form with said produced results, I am not happy with my pop up
blocker.(My friends email is something like
stabcel...@hotmail.com) Anywho. I obviously did not want the
unwelcomed pop ups, which is the reason why I installed a blocker in
the first place. Doesn't it defeat the purpose of having downloaded
one? I think it's just plain silly that people are allowed special
privileges to get through as long as they have the coin. That's
bullshit. It should be called the, "pop up blocker that only works
sometimes."
Puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhlease.
