User specific alerts

Hello,

I'd like to receive alerts when a specific contact comes on, and no
alerts for connect/disconnects from other contacts. Is there any way
to do this in Live Messenger? Or does anyone know of a plugin with
this option?

Messenger Plus Live's "Event Notifications" can do this for you. You can grab Plus @
http://www.msgpluslive.net

You can setup the feature by opening the main Messenger window, pressing the Alt key on the
keyboard to bring up the menu, choosing the Plus! menu, then Preferences, Customize tab and
choose Event Notifications.

Note that you'll still have to turn off Messenger's alerts to avoid seeing the typical ones.
You can do that from the Tools menu, Options, Alerts and Sounds category.
