Bobj, I am having the same problem. I contacted my ISP (Qwest), since they,
I believe, are actually responsible for MSN support. Here's what the guy
said: "The webserver that hosts that website is down right now. We do not
have an expected time of restoral. You will still be able to get into your
email and favorites." Restoral is sort of a cute word, but that's the scoop
from Qwest.

rural area,
-- but just use them for internet connection and go directly to msn which i
pay 9.95 a month for ,as centuries home page and mail is ,,well ,wont say it
. guess all we can do is wait.

I am having a problem with the web page being the latino version rather than
the American English version. Does anyone else have this problem? What is
the problem with that?

Delete cookies and clear temporary Internet files. Also, check to make sure that
your LiveID profile is correctly set for your location - http://account.live.com
and that your IE language setting is also set correctly for English - US.
Let us know if that helps.

No, I don't have any problems displaying the Latino page. ;o) Have you
tried clicking on the upper right corner where it says "English", if that is
not what you want?

The very same thing is happening to me as of 7/16/08. I get an error msg.
"Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://msnmember.my.msn.com/
Operation aborted." I either get the "Hotmail homepage" or that msg. I'm
NOT a happy camper as I pay $21.95/mo. and am not able to get into my own
homepage!!!

What do you mean by "lost" the page? Do you mean that signing in at
http://my.msn.com brings you to a default page with none of your customizations?
Are you a subscriber to MSN Premium or MSN Internet Access? if so,
http://support.msn.com will get you to support. It would seem to be a server
side issue with your user ID.
If you are not a subscriber, though the problem may well be the same, I don't
know of a support path for you. It may be a temporary issue during the upgrades.

Here's what happens at this end with that link
msnmember.my.msn.com

IE opens, loads a MyMsn page that says "You are now signed out of MyMSN"
Click Sign In, enter username/pw (using a Live ID assigned to an Msn subscription plan)
IE loads MyMsn with previous settings.

The above functions is the same in XP, Vista and Win7
The only difference on custom settings present using msnmember.msn or msn.com as the entry point for sign to MyMsn for the same Msn
subscription Live ID..the former has a box for accessing the MemberCenter.

Same questions for you, BabsC, minus the "what do you mean" one, plus a few
more.
What operating system, what web browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, MSN Explorer,
etc.), what security software? If your husband uses your computer to access
my.msn.com and signs in with his LiveID does he encounter the same error? If you
use your LiveID on your husband's computer, do you encounter the error?

SInce you are replying to a thread that is a few years old, I can be pretty
certain that the same thing has not happened to you. Similar, maybe. Same, no.
Perhaps you could tell us what the "same thing" that is happening is. What page
are you going to? www.msn.com, my.msn.com, or membercenter.msn.com? Are you a
paying MSN subscriber and what web browser are you using? What are the results
you expect and what are the actual results?

Hi there, I had the same problem and was pissed off, but I found the
solution. Just Go to the Bing Settings and click on MYMSN, your MYMSN will
appear the way you have set it up, then go to Internet Opions and click on
use current then apply. Try to reopen Explorer and your Original MYMSN will
appear. Hope this helps.
