I don't think there is any way around that constraint when using MSN
Explorer, I'm sorry.

Well there Paperino, why would you want to do that? I guess for ease of use?
I work Level 3 MSN tech support. If it were at any way possible that you
can use it, it would be by manually entering the item in the registry. Buy
going to hkey_users----> default ---> software ----> microsoft ---->
msn6 ----> then you right click in the right window, select new-> key. Then
you type in your full email name that your use for .net passport, and that
will manually add the user id into msn explorer, you could try that.. I'm
curious as to whether that actually works, lemme know!

Thanks, that's great.
I typed the new key in
hkey_Current_User----> default ---> software ----> microsoft ---->
msn6 ---->Users

and it works. Mainly I want that, because it's in Microsoft's philosophy
having one passport for everything. So I was really pissed off when I had to
create another one.
cheers

Please can someone tell me why I sighned up for a passport and immediately
tried to use it to absolutely no avail? How Many Times I tried to find out
if there was some kind of waiting period - couldn't. Perhaps there is a 24
hour clearance time?
Any help to fatr...@ratbike.org would be palpably gratefully accepted!

Locky,

Please define what you mean by "tried to use it"... exactly what is your
problem?

Now one thing I would keep in mind is this is not
something that is supported by Msn that would be
something that you would do, taking liability for
yourself. If you don't know how to edit registry, I
would not do this, or concern yourself with it. This was
only a suggestion in a discussion and is in no way
supported by MSN.
