Hello,

(Sorry, put this before on .programming by mistake)

I have some Private queues on a XP SP2 machine some 8 other XP SP2
machines can access without problems.

Problem is that whenever I try to access them from a 2003 server
64bit, I get permission denied

Receive message failed from queue FormatName:DIRECT=OS:machine-name
\Private$\queue_name_AS_CALLS_0.
Access to Message Queuing system is denied.

on machine-name Everyone has full control, I also tested adding the
2003 user to the queue permissions list but to no avail.

Maybe you just can't mix domains and workgroups? I'd really like a way
to do so, even if it's hacky (it's just a temporary measure before we
move all XP machines to the domain)

Any hint is appreciated.

Thanks,

"Everyone" does not mean everyone as it no longer includes "Anonymous
Logon".
"Everyone" only includes accounts recognised by the domain.
If you add "Anonymous Logon" with receive permissions then you will be fine.
