Hi, I am having trouble getting two computers to communicate via msmq
over an ad-hoc network. The code I have seems to works fine in other
environments and I can't pinpoint a problem on these two computers.
When I send a message from one Windows 7 32-bit computer to another
over an ad-hoc wireless network the message never arrives. The only
difference I know of on these machines is that I am told they are set
up as an "ad-hoc network". When I look at their network properties
they are in workgroup mode.

I did not set up the network but can ping between machines and running
netstat -a I see that mqsvc.exe is listening on ports 2103, 2105, 2107
and 1801. In addition, RpcSs is listening on port 135. Windows
firewall is currently turned off and there is no Anti-virus installed.
When a message is sent it goes into "waiting to connect" in the
outgoing queues. The IP number of the outgoing queue matches the
remote computer and that IP number can be pinged. Does anyone have any
suggestions on what I can look at to get this working? Perhaps a
network tool that would show what is causing this block?

Thank you,

David Morris
