MS Sidewinder 3D Pro Plus (JoyStick) Software for XP Windows

Where is the software for the MS Sidewinder 3D Pro Plus
(JoyStick) that is compatible with Windows XP(HE). The
current file (SWGameEN = version 3.02)on the MS
Sidewinder web page is not compatable with Windows XP.

Any suggestions will be greetly appreciated!

Unfortunately, there is no software for gameport based joysticks for Windows NT based OS' (including WinXP).

In summary: XP contains drivers for some of the gameport devices. The SW 3D
Pro drivers support its full functionality.

In fact, I was able to use a SW 3D Pro in XP in digital mode for the first
time in a couple of years. (I'd had to use analog emulation with a 133 MHz
FSB system.)

What you don't get is profiles.

If that's unacceptable to you, I suggest that you replace the SW with a USB
stick. (The newer MS joysticks don't seem to be as robust as the old 3D Pro,
which is one reason I still use it. Another is that I'm cheap, in some
ways.)
