Hi,
I just purchased mobile memory mouse 8000, and i want to connect it using
the bluetooth.
It works. But, after it is connected, the functions on the some buttons are
not as it should be. i.e. the wheel button does not do flip 3d but only auto
scroll. (although in the mouse properties flip 3d is selected). Front thumb
button doesnt do zoom.

If I use the 2.4 Ghz connection, those button works perfectly fine.

Can anyone help how to make them works using the bluetooth connection ?

thank you

Do you know what Bluetooth stack you're using? We test everything with the
Windows stack and make sure it all works, but we can't test all of the other
flavors out there. The other thing to try is updating the IntelliPoint
driver from www.microsoft.com/hardware/downloads.

OK, in the 7.0 IntelliPoint release we tested with Toshiba's stack and found
that pretty much everything worked. We have beta versions of that release
available for Windows 7 support. The next thing I would try is installing
that IntelliPoint beta release (even if you aren't running Win 7) to see if
it might help. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/windows7/support.mspx.

I have some other problem with this mouse, when i charge it using the
usb cable provided, for the 1st few seconds it flashes green light, after
that it flashes RED. And it doesn't charge the battery. Often i have to
charge the battery using some other wall charger
Please advice. The 1st few months it works perfectly.

Typically when this happens it's because the rechargeable battery isn't
fully engaged in the battery slot. Try rolling the battery a few times. If
that doesn't work, try wrapping a piece of paper around the middle of the
battery a few times - the extra thickness can help depress the button that
tells the mouse it has a rechargeable instead of an alkaline battery. At
least, that's what's been working for a few other rechargeable mice with
recharging problems. If that doesn't work, then I'd have to say call tech
support.

Regards,

hi, I have a different issue with this mouse , yesterday i installed windows
7 , on my sony laptop, i haveinstalled all the software and updates
recommended from the producer . and installed the latest drivers from
microsoft pae for this mouse as well, the issue is with the bluetooth, when i
want t oadd the mouse it asks me for pairing code , but in some cases , when
i look it up in the find new device in the bletooth option, it gives me an
option to connect without the pairing code ..i do so , it installs perfectly
with the drivers, but still dosent work ..then it disappears ... and when i
move the mouse ..it shows me a notification that a device wants to connect
when i do so ..it asks for a pairing code ..and so on...

i restarted my mouse many times , the computer etc.. in the bluetooth
options i have checked the boxes with show my computer to all etc.. but still
nothing..

any help would be extremly appriciated.

thank you in advance

I have the exact same problem. Its works with USB but it doesnt with the
bluetooth. I already installed intellipoint 7 for 64 bit Vista. I can see the
mouse on the list of bluetooth devices and press the on button inside the
mouse until it flashes red and green. Is mine a hardware probelm??

I recently had a similar problem with a new Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard
where my keyboard would disappear and I would not have enough time to enter
the 8 digits of the pairing code before timeing out. I had successfully
paired my devices once previously, but had a reinstall my computer which (as
designed) would loose the pairing of the devices.

Here's my response on the Windows 7 forums... Hope this helps.
-----------------
It turns out that there's a magic sequence to resetting the pairing on my
devices. If I hold in the pairing buttons for 30+ seconds the LEDs start
alternating colors and I can successfully pair my devices.

And, of course, nada; nothing in a manual anywhere on this one... Nothing
on the forums on this... I've seen several questions similar to this. It
would be helpful to add a "try this first" to an FAQ on the forums.
