The batteries in my mouse died today and when I replaced them with new
batteries the indicator light continued to flash red. I have tried adding
several brand new batteries. But the light continues to flash red. I have
reset the mouse, removed and reinstalled the batteries a few times. The mouse
itself works but the light won't stop blinking. Any ideas?

I'm suffering with the same problem.
I did exactly what you did. Problem remains.
I didn't find an answer yet.
No ideas up to now.
