We have a small VB6 application that calls a web service via SOAP30.
When the app calls MSSoapInit on some computers, the memory used goes up to
about 150MB while on other computers the memory used stays at about 11MB.
One computer does not have any Visual Studio installed and the memory goes up.
Other computers have VB6, VS 2003 and VS 2008. The computer on which VB6
was installed before 2003 and 2008 has the problem, while those that had VB6
installed after 2003 and 2008 do not have the problem.
Is the installation of VS 2003 and 2008 the cause of the problem and is
there a solution other than deinstalling and reinstalling VB6?
Thank you
