I've just discoverd the MSDN show, the onlive video magazine that MSDN has
been publishing monthly for about 9 months now.

I like the format, the content is interesting, blah blah blah, etc.... but
MY GOD that Erica Wiechers they've got doing the news is absolutely
delicious.

I think i want to start a fan club. Any joiners?

Now, now, now... It is already difficult enough to find women in this
business (Software development Related). Do you have to scare the remaining
away by showing your true color, a horny geek with a pocket protector and a
pair of taped glasses.

From your reaction, it is obvious that you need a life. Behave, would ya...

Oh jeez, here comes the Politically Correct police. Remember the good ole
days when you could compliment a woman without getting sued? I'm not sure
how you arrived at your conclusions about this person re: geek with pocket
protector. From your reaction, it's obvious you need to lighten up. Relax,
would ya...

While I agree with you in principle, the fact is, the original message was
hardly a compliment rather than an objectified and degrading comment. A
compliment doesn't use the word "delicious" unless you're talking about
food.

Oh please, Erik. He used the terms 'honey', 'delicious' and 'fan club'.
Maybe I haven't attended the proper sensitivity seminars, but what's so
degrading? It seems to me that the difference between a degrading comment
and a desirable comment depends entirely on the feelings the subject of the
comment has for the person making the comment. "Nice t*ts" is degrading.
What aufgang said wasn't. Of course, you could argue that it's in the eye
of the beholder, but why should the world change to suit the tender psyches
of a few? My wife has as much use for these easily-offended,
gotta-protest-something PC-people as I do.

Point taken. You should have made it more outrageous, though. Aufgang's
post was a nice change from the usual "how do I make a W2K boot CD from my
MSDN sub" questions we see every 2 days.
