VS.NET 2003 Install Error

I tryed to install MSDN for VS.NET 2003 Final beta from
the DVD but it fails.

It asks for me to install Disc #1....Well it is installing
from DVD so Disc #1 #2 and #3 are all on the DVD...

What should I try next?

Tony,

Have you checked the paper documentation that was distributed with
either the Jan or Feb MSDN update that details some issues with the
installation of the VS.NET 2003 Final Beta.

Visual Studio .NET Final Beta
Disc 1952 includes Visual Studio .NET Final Beta, however it cannot be
installed from DVD. To install::

1.. Create a temporary folder on your hard drive, for example
C:\TEMP\VSBETA
2.. From Disc 1952, copy the contents of the following folders into
the folder you just created:
\ENGLISH\VS.NET_2003\ENTARCH_BETA\DISC1
\ENGLISH\VS.NET_2003\ENTARCH_BETA\DISC2

Note: ensure that you do not copy the the Disc1 and Disc2 folders
themselves. If prompted, overwrite existing files.

3.. Run setup from the local copy. Example: C:\TEMP\VSBETA\SETUP.EXE

Hi!
My Installation also fails!
1. a lot files of "MICROSOFT VISUAL STUDIO .NET 2003
\SDK\V1.1\DOCS" aren't found
2. it searches for a direcotry
called "MICROSOFT.NET\FRAMEWORK" which either doesn't
exist!
So i had to cancel the installation!
Files for the first Problem could be found in a
Installation ZIP-File downloaded from the web, but for the
second problem i had no solution.
Is there anywhere a functioning, complete installation?
