Agent with Outlook

I was wondering how you can get agent to work with outlook, for
example, to notify you of your appointments, check your email, etc...
Just like they showed on the commercial. Is there an easy way of doing
it? TIA

The commercial was highlighting a project in the Microsoft Research group,
not an actual software product. However, there are some products in the
marketplace that do support using the character with Outlook. Type in
"Microsoft Agent" and "Outlook" into your search engine and you might find
some. You might also check out the Agent web ring or CNET for some possible
products. Also someone in this newsgroup might have something.

I'd be interested if someone was prepared to work on some code to do this. I
recall someone doing something similar with the speech SDK (with no Agent)
but that's as far as it went. If anyone out there has some code please feel
free to get in touch. I'll try anything (almost).
