Help needed with characters!!

I am a new user of MsAgent.

I downloaded the characters Merlin,etc and all the documentation I could
find.

How can I program a Character, is there a demo program for this?

How can I use the characters in a web page?

Please tell me from the beginning!!

Start by going to Program the Agent (TM). <

Use the page to create a small agent program and then ask it to generate an
HTML with script source code.
Take the new HTML page you generated and save it to your disk.
Then examine the details of the source code to learn how to write such a
program.
Next go to the Developer's Corner of Agent InfoSpace <

and surf through the many articles posted there to learn about the agent and
how to program it.
