Yet MS Canadian site shows them as valid to get a quote from the MS Canadian
site. The + sign is always the way the old INVESTMENT TOOLBOX recognized
warrants (the + sign is exclusively a Microsoft invention whereas other sites
you have to enter in the actual symbol like it is on the exchange).
Microsoft has really screwed this up. It doesn't even recognize its own
symbols! And you can't get an answer from Microsoft because they don't care
and don't want to hear about it.
There's other annoyances too, like you can only see 1/3 of the rows you
could see before --- the font is way too big. Plus, they put the CA currency
sign in every cell, making it almost impossible to read the numbers ---- even
though the portfolio is configured to show the currency in Canadian dollars.
Idiotic!
I would have paid a subscription to keep the old toolbox --- but they don't
seem to care about their users. Whoever designed this new PM piece of junk
ought to hang their head in shame. It's a poor piece of work for sure.
