Money 98 Online Banking Setup Failure

Have used Money 98 since it's retail release. However, just now trying to
set up online banking features. Discover Card supports Money 98, but when I
try step 2 (Investigate Offerings) on the "Get Connected" screen or step 5
(Set up Online Services) I get the following error message:
"The computer you are trying to contact was not found. It may be down for
maintenance or your online services may not be configured correctly."

I suspect the online services are not configured correctly.

Discover Card support tech advised me to update my Money 98 by installing
ofx.exe. Apparently file formats changed from OFC to OFX? Anyway, did the
download, installed and still cannot connect online to Discover.

I am able to use the online quotes feature and successfully download stock
quotes and histories for several stocks.

Any help or advice anyone can share about setting up the online banking
feature will be greatly appreciated.

The reason you are unable to setup online services is
because branding servers (direct dialup) that were used
with money 98 are being phased out. The servers I
believe were created because not alot of people had ISP's
when money online services were introduced. Now that
most people have an ISP, dial up servers are no longer
available. Beginning with money 2000, ISP's were used
and direct dial-up is not an option. Time to upgrade :)

Yup. That's what I finally did a couple months ago. I had bought a new
machine and reinstalled Money 98 on it. But, I couldn't get my online
services to work without a warning message. And, nobody was able to help.
I tried all the recommended upgrades/updates. I ended up purchasing Money
2002 which uses my internet connection (I like that a lot better anyway).
