CONTRACT TO HIRE

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Working knowledge of telecom business and backbend IT systems that
enable
operations functions to be performed, including Fault Management.
- Object oriented language a must.
- SQL (Oracle SQL) - Netcool Version 7.0
- Must have an understanding of what an Omnibus suite is: Version 7.0
- Needs to know how to customize a probe whats involved and what does
it
mean
- Must have an understanding of the kinds of probes that are available
and
what needs to be used and when - Understands events, event storming,
routing, thresholding and setting up specific classes within an object
server
- Must have Netcool development experience
- Must have Netcool testing experience
- Proficiency in Netcool Impact 4.0 / 5.0 preferred
- Proficiency in Perl/Scripting languages preferred
- Familiarity with Project management tools and methods
- Strong follow up skills
- Ability to work within a team environment where communication is
essential
- Ability to work independently on assignments
