Operator console Pre requisites

hi I installed MOM operator console on a number of workstations today without
any problems except for 2 XP (SP2) PCs. they failed the .net pre requisites
test, I have installed .net 2 and it still fails, I have removed it and re
installed .net 2 and even upgraded to 3.5 still the same results? also I have
installed all the latest updates

Not sure, but I think there are a few articles on MOM installed on SP2.
Something about changes that need to be made to the Windows XP Firewall.
