In the next couple of days I want to install Windows Server 2008 on one of
our servers. Thereafter I want to install SCOM 2007 R2 - never used this
software before.
I looked for requirements and found SQL 2005 at least. No problem with this.
Thinking about SQL 2008 also on the same server (Hardware will be okay I
believe cause there are well under 100 clients to be monitored).
While downloading Server 2008 via MVLS site I found "SCOM 2007 R2 with SQL"
next to "SCOM 2007 R2". Great. No extra SQL 2008 download needed.
PROBLEM: in the SCOM there is no hint of SQL installation. I can not find
any websites about this. Hope someone can help me with that.
Thanks.
