Regards Will
No one in a notification group should send e-mails, instead they should recive.
The FROM address, that MOm use to send e-mails, is configure as a global
setting.

Thank you for your post.
Yes you are right, but let me explain.
MOM 2005 administrator console.
Management packs – Notifications – Notification Groups – Operators.
I made 4 operators with the same e-mail address but different receive time.
This because we have no 7 x 24 hours SLA.
The operator made for receiving e-mail on Sunday from 18:00 – 24:00 hour,
with the same e-mail address as the other operators receives no e-mail at
specified time. Then I reconfigured that operator with the same
specifications as before. The operator then receives the e-mail correctly.
So why sends MOM the e-mail correct after reconfiguring the operator?
How can I check if MOM has sends the e-mail? MOM generates the correct
alerts, but I am afraid sometimes the e-mails are not send.
Kind regards Will
Look at the properties of an alert, there is a history tab, on that history
tab there is info about notification.
You could also configure one notification group where you instead change
operator/member. Think that would be easier then re-configure hours on all
your operators. Have you looked at notification workflow for MOM 2005? maybe
that is something that could help you too, take a look at http://contoso.se/blog/?p=134
for more detailed notification tips.
