Not a huge IIS person and did not see in the MOM managment where I can set
who has rights to open the links when sent an email regarding an alert.
Anonymous access is enabled in IIS. This is MOM 2005 on Server 2003 with IIS
6. I get the actual MOM page but it states "You are not authorized to view
this page". So again, not sure if this is MOM or IIS.? thanks!

Hi

Do you mean the links to MOM web console? The user has to be member or a MOM
group, for example MOM Administrator or Operator.

Well when MOM sends out an email alert it has a link to view the erro and /
or change the status to resolved or acknowledged, etc. When clicking that
link it gets to a MOM 2005 page but that page itself says you don't have the
rights to view the page. Maybe that explains a little better.? Thanks for
checking this out!!

Well when I log into the MOM machine itself I use an account that is set as a
local admin and thus is an admin in MOM as well. But the users who get
notices are set as MOM users.

Do you have any other service than MOM installed on that webconsole machine?
Have you installed MOM SP1 ?
Are your user also member in the Distributed com users local security group?
