mts and iis threading bug

We are experiencing some strange MTS behaviour when using
asynchronous ADO on a web server. We are using ADO 2.1, IIS
4.0 and NT Server 4.0 SP6a. One of our DLLs uses an ADO
callback to signal completion of a lenghty stored
procedure. This works fine when only a single user is
accessing the system, but during load testing MTS ALWAYS
gets into some kind of race condition. The task manager
shows 100 % CPU usage and it is Mtx.exe that is responsible
for that load. Mtx never gets out of that condition by
itself and the only solution is to reboot the server.
Please not that we are NOT making any calls to MTS from our
code. To us this looks like a serious bug somewhere in
either IIS, ADO or MTS. Has anybody made similar
experiences ?
