Hello,
I just downloaded the 2009 MP trial app.
When I went to install it, it told me that it needs the Access component and
will install it now.
I develop Database apps and have access already intstalled (2007). I do not
want to risk the install
overwritting anything I have in place. Why does the 2009 install not see
that I already have
MS Access available?

Hi Bob!
You can prevent it from trying to install it by editing the .ini file.. see details here --
