The more everyone tells me here, the more intersting this MapPoint
application becomes!!

I have the addresses of all the students in a school district.

1. Apparently from what I am reading here, the addresses need to
be turned into laitude and longitude. How do I do this? Where do I
get the latitude and longitude for an address? What about rural
addresses that only may be R. D. 2, Some City, PA?

2. OK, now where do I store this address data? I read here about
importing user data into MapPoint, so where in MapPoint do I store
the data?

3. Now along with the student's name and address, I want to store
what grade the student is in, how do I add that data to the
address data and store it in MapPoint?

4. I can see the student's name, address and grade being in one
table. How about data about the parents? Siblings have the same
parents. Normalized database design would have the parent's data
in one table and the students' data in a separate student table.
Each student record would relate back to the parent table by a
foreign key. So how is this done in MapPoint.

5. How about data about the classes each student is in. Can I
have an Access database that has a table of all the classes the
district teaches, a table where each student is identified by the
primary key in the MapPoint student name, address and grade
database and a record for each class that student is in and links
dynamically to the MapPoint database?

Thanks for your patience with my questions!

Steve
