How to save 2006 format in 2010?

Using MP 2010, is there a way to save a map in 2006 format? I have clients
that still have the older version, and it makes passing map files back and
forth a bit difficult without this feature.

The short answer is "no".
Depending on the data types you are copying, there might be alternatives
- eg. exporting pushpins to Excel. Still a bit cumbersome.
