BCC using msn mail

I am using msn mail provided with Verizon and msn explorer. When I use BCC
to send emails secure, the names show up in the addressees mail. Then by
clicking on properties, all of the email addresses are there. This is hardly
a secure blind copy. What's the story??? My OS is Windows XP with IE8
