The primary click is a left click (this is the default setting for the mouse and track pad). When I log into an RDP session, this swaps! The normal left click invokes a right click. On a track pad, this means that a click invokes a right-click without pressing command. It becomes backwards. Here's the kicker. It does it on my MacBook Pro (2.4 GHz), but NOT on my workmate's MacBook (1.83Ghz). Both are running OS X 10.5.6. I can't use RDP like this on my MBP and I really really need to for my j-o-b.
What is not a solution: Going into system preferences and swapping the primary button so that it works within RDP is not a solution. This would thus create the very issue I've described on the Mac side. So please don't offer this as a fix. I'm looking for a fix, or update.
NOTE: I posted this originally in January 2009, and this is still persistent
