I was reviewing a document I transferred from the PC, and noticed that there
was no way to get the comment balloons to show up in the Mac version. Is
there a setting that I'm missing, or is this a feature that's missing from
the Office X Mac version (pity if it's the latter - it's a very useful
view).

Hi

To view comments all that's needed is to put the mouse cursor over a
comment, and it should just appear on the screen.

You can also view comments by using the reviewing toolbar
(View>Toolbars>Reviewing).

If comments are not working the way you expect, search for this help topic
in Word's help:
Comments don't appear in my document

Comments appear fine in a separate window. I just can't get them to show up
like in Office XP - where the comments are balloons to the right side of the
document, attached by dotted lines. It's a really good view when looking
over all comments to your manuscript. Is there any way to set this up?
This feature is not in help which is why I'm asking here.
