Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Doesn't seem to be an option anywhere - menus, toolbar, right-click. Buh?

Unlike Windows, Mac OS doesn't allow for file management from within
applications programs I assume you're trying to create the folder while in
Open Or Save As? Any creation/deletion of folders must be done in a Finder
Window or on the Desktop. Likewise, you can't delete, move or rename files
in Open or Save As dialogs.

Hi,

Creating folders is something that has to be done using the web site.
This first version of Document Connection does not support creating folders.

There's another new Microsoft Technology that does allow you to share
documents and folders. It's Mesh.com and is worth looking into.

If you're just looking for storage, check out Skydrive

I'm not talking about files on the local machine, but on the Sharepoint site.

Sorry, but since you jammed everything into the Subject line it got cut off
& didn't fully display. See Jim's reply.

Hi Jim,

I know the original question and your subsequent response is a couple of years old but I am experiencing the same issue, i.e. is it possible to create a new folder within Document Connection without having to set it up from web browser first?

Second question is that, why is it only possible to drag and drop individual files from Finder Window to Document Connection and not an entire file?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Best regards,

Elaine
