It does on my system. It's possible your font is corrupted and needs to be
reinstalled. (Note there are three font folders: one in the main Library
folder, one in the System Folder, and one in the User / Library folder.
Note that you can also insert just about any symbol you want in Word 2004 by
using the Insert -> Symbol command from the Insert menu. Very useful new
feature.
I seem to recall I stumbled on a P-in-circle symbol the other day, though,
and now I can't find it. Damn!
