Printing Watermark

I am using word 2002 and can get a watermark to show in print view but it
won't appear on printed page

I forget exactly where it is but some where in the Print menu there is
supposed to be a setting to choose include watermark and or notes.

If it appears in Print Preview then the only thing that can be wrong is that
the printer does not have the same size paper in it that the document has
been formatted for.

In other words, it's off the physical sheet of paper.

Or: The watermark picture is so complicated that the printer can't print
it!

By "print view" do you mean Print Preview or do you mean Print Layout View?
- it makes a big difference:)

If they show in Print Layout but not in Print Preview (and don't print),
check in Tools> Options> Print to make sure the boxes are checked for
Background Colors & Images and for Drawings (the wording may be a little
different). I don't have 2002 installed to verify, but I believe it's
similar to 2003 in this regard.

If it *is* Print Preview that they display & still don't print then John is
more likely to be right. You might also pursue the issue in a group for PC
