Slow typing reaction time in a single document in Mac Word

In one document only, I have extremely slow reaction time when typing
new information into this document. I have tried copying and pasting
to a new document and still have the same problem. This only occurs
in this one document - it is saved as a .doc - getting very frustrated
as this is our client list that I am trying to revise.

Try repairing permissions. I know that doing this rarely helps anything, but Word is one of the few instances where you might be really surprised.
