HELP: Formal Style Set and Metro Theme for Word on Mac

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I'm working on a flyer for a class HW. the book says that I need to change the "style set" to "formal" and "theme fonts" to "metro". I'm working on a Mac and the books is written specifically for the PC version.... "MICROSOFT" Word... duh.

I've managed to do everything else except for 13 and 14:

I checked under styles and document themes and see nothing regarding formal, but I do see Metro under document themes.

I tried searching for formal themes that I can just download, but no luck. Any help?

This 'assignment' was apparently designed by someone who expected the
students to be using nothing other than Word 2007 [or the 2010 Beta for
Windows]. Those are the only versions of Word which employ 'style sets'
which are more accurately known as Quick Style sets. There is no direct
equivalent in any other version of the program.

Word for Mac & Word for Windows are never identical, and Word 2007 is
particularly unique. Even earlier versions of Word for Window do not have
the same feature set offered in Word 2007. If this class is not *explicitly*
on Word/Office 2007 I'd suggest that you consult with the instructor to see
what alternatives might be acceptable for those using one of the 12 or so
other active versions of Word. If the class *is* expressly for Office 2007,
that's the version you'll have to use in order to fully complete the
assignments... Since this appears to be "Chapter 1" you will undoubtedly run
into more severe disparity the deeper you go into the material.

Thanks for the response. I tried working on the flyer again at my cousin's house with Word 2007 and here is the thing.... I clicked on change style... no formal style, there were no style to choose from at all. I tried searching for the formal style/template, but still got nothing.

On the Home tab of the Ribbon there is a button labeled 'Change Styles' just
to the right of the gallery in the Styles group. When you click that button
point to 'Style Set' -- that's where you'll find Formal.
