Version: 2008 When I create a word document, the preview looks fine but when I print, the entire document is shifted down so there is a large top margin but there is no bottom margin, sometimes the bottom few lines are not printed at all... any ideas.. Also, things printed from websites are fine

Make sure that Office, OS X & your printer driver are all fully updated...
check the printer mfr's web site rather than relying on driver updates to be
passed on from Apple.
