How to take a picture of Word text to copy as picture in an email

Hello!
I am trying to send graduation announcements via email and would like to have the announcement be the body of the email and not an attachment. I was told that I can take a picture of the text and then copy that into the email. Is this true? If so, how do I do this? I am kind of on a tight schedule, so if someone could please help me out here pretty quick I'd greatly appreciate it!

You would be better off posting this in the Entourage newsgroup, but seeing
the answer is straightforward:
1, Take the screenshot in any application by keying Control-Command-Shift-4
and dragging the cross-hairs to determine the image (this puts the shot on
the clipboard; without the Control key down it creates its own image file on
the Desktop).
2. In Entourage, make sure you have html formatting on (you can toggle it
on/off with the "ab/ab" button just under the word "attachments").
3. Click in the e-mail where you want the image to appear and press
Command-v.

that Panther includes it. There may be some other feature instead. Check Mac
Help on the subject: screen capture. There are also a number of free
utilities available as well as some that offer free trial options. You might
check VersionTracker.com for what's available.

easier way. Compose the announcement in Word, paste your pictures into the
document, and when you're done, you can simply click on File>Send To>Mail
Recipient (as HTML). That way, your entire message will appear in the e-mail
body (with some minor layout changes), and you can send the message via
Entourage. Keep in mind that once you've passed on the document to
Entourage, you can no longer make any changes or add any attachments to the
message.

or has their settings & window set differently than what the message is set
up for? :-) Quite honestly a PDF attachment is the best way to go but if...
JLS09: If you insist on going the HTML route at least put the content of
your announcement into a single-cell table & turn the Borders off if you
wish. At least you can minimize the damage :-)
