I have MAC 2001 PPT presentations that I make into .mov files (using the
Make Movie command) to be read by PC's. Will the Windows media player
recognize these files or do they have to be played using Quicktime on the
PC. Can I create movies from Mac PPT that will be read by windows media
player?

Thanks in advance

Hi

The way to make .mov files is to first create them as QuickTime and then use
QuickTime Pro to convert them into .mov format. QuickTime Pro supports lots
of file formats, but I don't know if WMP is one of them. There's a new
version of QuickTime (version 6) due out right around the corner. There's a
"test drive" at Apple's web site, but I have not had a chance to play with
it, yet.
