I'll make two suggestions (but can think of several others):
You can take screen shots using SnapZPro (made by Andromeda) or you can use
the Save As Web Page feature from PowerPoint and adjust the image settings
for the best quality.

File, Save As lets you opt for JPG and several other bitmap/raster formats.
You can choose to save the current slide only or the entire presentation as
a set of numbered files.
The export will be at 72dpi, so if your page setup is 10" wide, your
exported images will be 720 pixels wide. For a way to change that, see
