Apple now offers a MPEG2 viewer for Quicktime:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/mpeg2playback
By adding this capability to quicktime does this mean that Powerpoint
will now play mpeg2 movies when inserted into a slide.
I believe that previously it would only play MPEG1.
Can someone confirm or deny this? In Office 2001 and/or Office X?
Thanks,
KK.
PowerPoint turns everything over to QuickTime for the QuickTime stuff.
Whatever codecs that QuickTime has should be automatically inherited by
PowerPoint. At least that's how it's supposed to work the way I understand
it. (Not official)
