Version: 2008 I have the auto save option on for every 10 minutes. I was just saving my work and mistakenly hit NO when asked if I wanted to save changes. Can the autosave file help me? I can't find where the autosave file is? If it is the same as the file I just saved, then it did not save my work. Any ideas how I can get my work back?

There is no "auto save" in Word (or Excel or PowerPoint). See the
information here... although it specifically references extensions & file
locations for the Windows OS the principals are identical:

http://word.mvps.org/faqs/general/AutomaticSave.htm

Bottom Line: Once you close the file under normal conditions & decline
saving changes there is nothing to be recovered.

Hi

If you have Save AutoRecover Info every X number of minutes checked on
the Save tab of PowerPoint's preferences, then you can recover any
presentation that was open for more than X number of minutes at X number
of minute intervals.

PowerPoint automatically opens the most recently autosaved version
after a PowerPoint crash or forced-quit.

You might try using Spotlight to search for Autorecovery and see if you
find that particular file. If you've used PowerPoint in the meantime the
autorecover file you seek may no longer be available.
