When I select a range of cells from an Excel spreadsheet, then
copy/paste into PowerPoint, some columns near the right border are
missing. The selection shows an empty while area where more cells
should be.

AAAARRGGGHHHH!

I think it's a PP problem because if I paste into, say, TextEdit, all
the data from Excel are there.

This never happened with Office v.X and is a MAJOR BUG, rendering PP
unusable.

Any ideas?

I get the same problem if I paste as picture or as excel. My only workaround
has been to print as pdf from excel and manipulate in photoshop.

Wish I hadn't trashed powerpoint X

What happens if you hold the shift key down in Excel and then use the
Edit Menu? Have you tried to use the Copy Picture feature?

Yes, that works. But only if I select "as shown on screen". If I select
"as printed" I have the same problem.

Thanks.

Whew! At least there's a work-around.

Microsoft employees are currently reading the Mac newsgroups, so this
problem should find its way into their bug database so it can be worked on.
