Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I would like to have an object in my presentation be large in the middle of the slide and when I click the object would move off to the side (using Path Animation) and at the same time reduce in size. You can do this in Flash document, I was wondering if the same can be done in PowerPoint.

Yes. There are several built-in animation effects, such as collapse and
shrink & spiral out that may be used for this. The animations can play
while following a path.

What I am looking for is to have the graphic stay on the slide but just smaller. All the exit animations have the graphic eventually disappear.

Hi

Try the Grow/Shrink emphasis effect.

I am very interested in this functionality as well. Exactly as described. Grow/Shrink doesn't do this since it is temporary size change. Any ideas?
