With this data transfer calculator, you can find out how long it's going to take to back up your PC to the cloud, or download the latest movie if you know your internet upload and download speeds. Or you could use it in reverse to check that you are getting the correct bandwidth from your internet service provider (ISP).

For example, let's calculate the time it will take to transfer a 500 MB file over a 15 Mbps data connection. We need to multiply 500 MB by 8 to convert the data size to megabits. We then get an answer in seconds, which can then be further converted to minutes and seconds.
A common question is, "How do I transfer data from my old iPhone to my new one?". The easiest way is to back up your old iPhone to Apple's iCloud, and then get the new iPhone to download that data. This method all depends on a reasonably fast internet connection, though. You can now use this data transfer calculator to estimate how long it will take.
If your internet speed is slow, you can backup your old iPhone to your computer using iTunes, then plug your new iPhone into your computer and restore it from the backup on iTunes. The speed of this operation will depend on the data transfer cable, and the speed of the hard disk in the computer, but should be much faster than the iCloud backup and restore option.
If you want to transfer all the data from your Android phone to an iPhone, you can get a data transfer app for your computer to do the job. Once the data transfer app is installed and running, plug both phones into the computer via USB cables. Try to use USB 3 cables and plugs as it has a maximum data transfer speed of 5 Gbps compared to USB 2's slower 480 Mbps.
If you only need to transfer some data, such as contacts or photos, you can sign up for a cloud service, such as Google or Microsoft. Then use their apps to send your data from your Android phone to the cloud, install the app again on the iPhone, and you will then have access to your data.
Upgrading from Windows 10 requires downloading 3.5 GB of data, which should take you 9 min 20 sec, assuming the data transfer rate to be 50 Mbps (6.25 MBps).
The ISO file for a clean installation of Windows 11 is 5.37 GB, so the download time would be 14 min 19 sec.
USB 3.0 can handle data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps, which translates to 625 MBps. Therefore, if you want to switch phones and have a lot of files, you might save time using USB 3.0 and your computer instead of a data transfer app.

(March 18, 2019) -- UTSA has launched an online tool to make the transfer process easier for undergraduates across the nation. The new UTSA Transfer Credit Calculator allows prospective students to quickly verify how many of their college credits will transfer to UTSA.
All that Future Roadrunners need to do is (1) choose their UTSA major, (2) select a college they have attended and (3) enter the courses they have taken there. While in the calculator, students may create a profile to save their work. They also have the option of emailing a UTSA transfer counselor.
The University of Texas Permian Basin is making it easier than ever for students to understand which credits will transfer to UTPB. With our new transfer credit calculator, students can see in real-time which of their classes transfer. They can use that information to choose the best degree options. The goal: save students time and money, and help them complete their college degree.
UT Permian Basin serves a large body of transfer students. In fact, 46% of students currently enrolled at UTPB are transfer students. The new transfer credit calculator will simplify the transfer process for many, allowing UTPB to serve the needs of our current and prospective students.
A transfer student is defined as any student new to UT Permian Basin who has ever enrolled at another college or university prior to attendance at UT Permian Basin and who has completed 24 or more semester hours of college-level work. How much money you'll save with a balance transfer actually has more to do with the debt you're moving than with the card you're moving it to. The cost of carrying that debt depends on how much debt you have, the interest rate you're currently being charged on that debt and how long it would take you to pay it off if you didn't transfer it.
When it comes to the card you're moving the debt to, generally speaking, the lower the balance transfer fee, the greater your savings. And the longer the 0% period, the more time you have to eliminate your debt without paying interest, which can also translate into more savings. See our
A balance transfer will save you money only if the amount you save on interest comes out to be more than the fee you pay to transfer the debt. If you're going to be paying off your debt within a month or two, you might be better off just keeping it where it is and paying it off directly, as opposed to paying 3% to 5% to move it to a different card.
If any of your transferred balance is still unpaid when the introductory 0% APR period ends, you'll be charged the card's regular interest rate on the remaining portion. Only the remaining debt will incur interest. You will not be charged "retroactive interest" on a card that specifies an introductory rate of 0%. That only happens with
Throughout Ohio, a transfer tax and conveyance fee is owed toward transactions involving real property and manufactured homes. In Franklin County, the conveyance fee is $3 per every $1,000 of the real property or manufactured home sale price unless the grantor of the property is receiving the homestead exemption at the time of property transfer (see below for more information). Additionally, there is a $3 minimum conveyance fee and $0.50 transfer tax associated with all property transfers that are non-exempt from the conveyance fee. If a property is exempt from the conveyance fee, then only the $0.50 transfer tax is owed toward the property transfer.
For context, the $3 per $1,000 conveyance fee is made up of a $1 per $1,000 fee set by the State of Ohio and a $2 per $1,000 fee set by the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, which last updated its fee in August of 2019. If the grantor of a property receives the homestead property tax exemption at the time of property transfer, then the conveyance fee is reduced to a total of $1 per every $1,000 of the real property or manufactured home sale price due to the permissive fee established by the Board of Commissioners being waived.
The transfer tax and conveyance fee can be paid by cash, business checks, or cashier's checks payable to the Franklin County Auditor. The office does not accept personal checks and is only able to provide change for cash transactions. Additionally, please do not include payments to other county offices with your check.
After students record all of their credits, the calculator will then generate a detailed report that lists the credits. It also displays a percentage that shows how close they are to earning their degree at UTSA for their selected major, positioning them for success in their college career.

Under State Personnel Board Rules 250 and 430-433, you may transfer from one job class to another without examination if you meet the minimum qualifications of the class to which you wish to transfer, the levels of duties, responsibility, and salary of the two classes are substantially the same and the two classes are not in the same series. The transfer must not constitute a promotion, and the State may establish policies to limit transfer to certain classes.
Salaries: "Substantially the same salary" means that the maximum salary of the highest paying class you were permanently appointed to from an eligible list and the maximum salary of the other class are no further apart than two salary steps minus $1. To determine the maximum salary of a class to which you may transfer:
