Space between currency symbol and amount

Hello There,

I used another currency symbol (english pound) than te default one (Euro).

However it appears that the symbol is not followed by some spaces like
in combination with the euro symbol.
I already used the adjust possibility, but with no result.
So, is this what it is, or am I "ignorant", as far as this issue concerns.

Problem solved. I used accountacy unstead of currency

[ians...@gmail.com]

When you select the currency option the space disappears when using $, but if you want to use - say £ the space comes back and the option automatically switches back to accountancy
